Loyalist × Stayntouch
Stayntouch stays join the same guest record as that person's restaurant visits, so somebody staying in the hotel and eating in the dining room is recognised as one guest rather than two unrelated customers. Restaurant history is then available before a hotel guest arrives, and what they spend on a stay counts towards what they are worth.
How it works
The guest who checks in and the guest who books a table are often the same person described twice by two systems that never compare notes. Stayntouch reservations arrive in Loyalist with the stay and the guest behind it, and they attach to whatever restaurant history that person already has. A regular of the dining room who turns out to stay four times a year, or a returning hotel guest who always eats in on arrival night, becomes visible as one relationship rather than as two separate patterns nobody had put together.
Key benefits
- A stay and a dinner reservation belong to the same guest. Someone in the hotel who eats in the restaurant is one record, so neither side has to be told about the other by whoever happens to remember.
- Restaurant history is available before a hotel guest arrives. A guest with a preference recorded at dinner last spring is recognisable at check-in, which is where recognition tends to matter most and travel least.
- Guests can be segmented across both sides of the business. A list can be the people who stay and never eat in, or the diners who have never stayed, and either one is a more useful audience than a general list.
- Stay history counts towards what a guest is worth. A modest spender in the dining room can be a significant customer of the property overall, and the combined picture is the one worth acting on.
Frequently asked questions
Does a hotel guest end up as the same record as a restaurant guest?
Where their details line up, yes. That is the point of connecting it: the overlap between people who stay and people who eat in is usually larger than either system suggests on its own.
Can guests be marketed to based on their stays?
Yes. Stay history is a filter like any other, so an audience can be the guests who have stayed and never eaten in, or the ones who stay every quarter, and a campaign or journey goes to that group rather than to the whole list.
What arrives from Stayntouch?
The reservation and the guest behind it, which is what joins a stay to that person’s restaurant record and makes the hotel side and the restaurant side one relationship.
