Loyalist × Google Reviews
Google reviews come into Loyalist and land on the guest who wrote them wherever the details support it, so a complaint sits beside that person's visits and spend rather than in a review inbox. Replies can be sent from Loyalist without opening the Google dashboard.
How it works
A review read on its own tells a restaurant very little. The same three stars mean one thing from a first-time visitor and something else entirely from a regular of six years. Google reviews arrive in Loyalist with the rating, the text, and the date, and where the reviewer’s details line up with someone already in the guestbook, the review is attached to that person. From there it reads in sequence with their bookings, their spend, and anything else they have said. Replies can be written and sent from Loyalist, so responding does not mean logging into a separate dashboard.
Key benefits
- A review is attached to the person who wrote it wherever the details allow. Rating, text, and date arrive together, and the review joins that guest’s record rather than sitting in a list of its own. A reviewer nobody can identify still comes across, just without a profile behind them.
- Context changes what a review means. Three stars from a guest on their first visit and three stars from someone who has come monthly for years call for different responses, and only the profile makes that difference visible before anyone replies.
- Replies are sent from Loyalist. A response can be written and published without opening the Google dashboard, which matters because review response is usually a job somebody does between other jobs.
- Past reviews come across at the start. Earlier reviews load when the connection is made rather than only new ones arriving, so a guest’s history includes what they said before the restaurant had anywhere to put it.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Google review get connected to the right guest?
Where the reviewer’s details support it, yes. Google gives a reviewer name and not much else, so the match depends on that name lining up with someone already known. Reviews that cannot be resolved to a person still arrive and are still readable, they just have no profile behind them.
Can the team reply to Google reviews from Loyalist?
Yes. A reply can be written and sent without leaving Loyalist, so the person handling reviews can see the guest’s whole history in the same place they are composing the response.
Do older Google reviews come across, or only new ones?
Both. Earlier reviews are loaded when the connection is made, so the record is not limited to what has arrived since. That matters most for a long-established restaurant, where the majority of its reviews were written before it connected anything.
